Not officially.

* Britain did provide military advisors to the Diem government; unlike the Americans they had extensive experience in jungle warfare, having just defeated the Communists in Malaya.

* Britain used its mission in Hanoi to collect intelligence for the Americans

* Britain delivered arms, including nalpalm, by plane from Hong Kong to Saigon.

* Some British subjects fought in the Australian and New Zealand armies.

Great Britain did not take part - we had a more sensible government then.
