I'm indian too, I know exactly what you're talking about. And I think it depends. Yes, it's true that one person needs to step up and start a revolution. The infrastructure there needs serious work, as does all the goverment corruption. But then think to yourself: Do I need to help my family first?? And if the answer is yes, then you need to continue working here. Your immediate responsibilities are far more important than the long-term ones.

You have a very brave spirit. My suggestion is to do a little more study on how you would be able to apply your knowledge and skills to changing the existing regime in your country. Obviously it is a dictatorship and there is no democracy so one person will not make a difference you must formulate a system of understanding the elements around you first, here where you are. You and your family have to be safe, and if you are safe here why look back and turn to salt? Look to your future dont let your heart weigh down and lower your spirit from the past bad experiences you have endured, Rather build a new life and it will come to you God willing what to do for yourself and others when the time comes. People need your kind of person everywhere but now you are here so stay and finish what you came here for, is it education, employment, take advantage of this freedom and apply yourself here and be a part of a good government that your family can live in happiness here compared to the alternative. We cannot carry the weight of the world on our shoulders. Let God share some of the load, all you have to do is ask.

The big difference between you and those answerers up there is that you are a very poor man with a very rich and great dream.
They are rich with not even one poor dream.
But one horse cannot move tons...
Make your bit. Generations of better and better people will end up by building better societies.
No matter where you live. Work for your family in your country. Do not bring them over and destroy your roots. Get back home when the job is done, and be part of the good bricks building up your society.

Every great accomplishment and/or revolution started with one person wanting to make a chage. When you can see the pain manifesting in the world around you all you can do is start with yourself to make the world into the place you see in your dreams. I believe that we all have an underlying dream that is universal within all of us, belive it and go from there. I pray for all to awaken to a world where we acknowlegde the connection that we all have and act accordingly.

Good luck with your endevours but I hope you know exactly what are going to do.

I hope you're not considering violence. If that's the case, then please just work on protecting your family.
I think you can do good things just by letting others know what's happening in your part of the world. I think we'd all be interested in knowing more.
