The boys daddy has a right to know he has a baby and as your baby grows older, he has a right to know his father, so no don't stop looking. BUT!!! Don't let it consume your life either. There are ways of finding people, social security numbers, drivers license numbers, family members of the father, friends of the father etc.
The important thing is that you have the medical information from the fathers side of the family if you need it for an emergency for your child.

Honestly if he ran from u because u were pregnant then ur baby doesnt need that type of father in his or her life. Now if he left and doesnt even kno u were pregnant he needs to kno he has a baby so keep on looking there are plenty of ways of locating him on the internet.

Your son deserves to know who his father is. Even if you found out he was dead, the child could get to know his father through his fathers family.

Your baby will one day want to know who and where his father is. You will need to be able to answer those questions. Keep looking at least until you feel you have done all you can for your child.

Well I would search so that when your son does it get older you will know if he is alive or dead and know what to tell your son who is the last person to see him?
He has contacted anyone?not even family?
or is he just hiding from you? to avoid responsiblity

How do you know which one is the father? You need to find both men if no paternity test has been done.

Um, if he's that bad of a person that you think it's possible he is dead, then I would say that you and your baby are better off without him!!
