I am planning to buy either Skagen 170LTTM ( http://www.amazon.com/Skagen-170LTTM-Mens-Titanium-Watch/dp/B0000643Q9/sr=1-12/qid=1162617211/ref=sr_1_12/102-7898972-8097763?ie=UTF8&s=jewelry ) or Seiko SNX997K1 ( http://www.amazon.com/Seiko-Mens-Automatic-Watch-SNX997K1/dp/B000G1IZOG/ref=pd_ecc_rvi_4/102-7898972-8097763 ). can you suggest me which 1 is better . Also if you can suggest me if as a brand seiko is better than skagen.

i collect watches. yes seiko has a better reputation for being more reliable. i have a seiko and love it. skagen are not bad but i trust seiko more.

Get a "Seiko", not too expensive and reliable. Watches can be classsified like cars, and which one is best is a matter or personal opinion, and the one people have had good luck with. I have owned a few of the major brands, including one of the original accutrons, and I now own two of the Seiko watches, one is 18 years old and the other about 10 years, where my wife has a Ladies Seiko about 15 years, and all have been very accurate and reliable. Whatever you buy, try to stay away from brands made in China.
