Does anyone know if there is going to be a new Phantom of the Opera movie coming out in the next couple of years? I just wanted to know because I love it so much. Serious answers only please!

Well, if you are referring to the operetta version with Emma Rossoum as great then yes it was wonderful. Are they going to make a sequel maybe probably no. A few years ago Andrew Lloyd Webber [he wrote the musical] wanted to make a sequel he even wrote a song and had it performed at his birthday celebration. Unfortunately he never found a story so the song went on in another show. He instead did Lady in White which is similar to the musical. But, nothing new.

maybe so because they have made a newer version about every 10-20 years since 1927. There was 1927, 1943,1967,1986,2004 and probably more in the future. You can check out the older versions and find out which version u like best.

I doubt it as it was remade about 2 years ago. A really good modern version stars Emmy Rossum.

I love that movie too. But I hope so , they will make new movies out of old ones and remakes , so I hope they do.
