You have any where between two and four weeks to go, (O:

Gestation is 68 day for your piggy. There is no real way of knowing until the last 3 to 4 weeks, as she will begin to look like a pear, she will have a normal sized head and just get larger as you look back. How old is she? If she between 8 and 9 months you may find yourself in a boatload of trouble. Guinea pigs over 9 month that have never had babies before should NEVER BE BRED, as the pelvic bones fuse together and WILL NOT allow the babies to pass down the birthing canal. If this is the case, you need to call a vet and find out your best course of action.

If you bought her from a pet store, and she is young, you more than likely do have a pregnant female, as is the case with most piggies from pet store. Some Pet stores get their piggies from what is know as an animal miller, the female can be bred at 3 to 4 week and baby male can bred at 4 week, Our rescue is filled with these so called pet store mishaps.

If she is not too young you should be fine, and if she is not over 9 months you should be fine, my best suggestion is if you are not sure of her age you need to go to a vet, and find out.

I will leave you with two links

the customary gestation era is between sixty 3 to seventy two days even even though it may selection and could be as long as seventy six days. As a customary rule the smaller the clutter the longer the gestation. you would be waiting to tell that the sow (female) has placed directly to placed on weight after 40 days of being pregnant, at 50 days you would be waiting to experience the youngsters flow interior in case you place you hands against her abdomen. So your Guinea Pig is in all probability over 50 days pregnant. as much as 4 days previous the sows pelvis will start to widen at this factor you would be waiting to greater healthful 2 finger in between her pelvis often you cant greater healthful any finger between her pelvis.she will start to make a nest so determine you have lots of sparkling hay sawdust, nutrition and water giving delivery could nicely be thirsty artwork. they're regularly born in the process the night and greater than a number of the time the mummy could have the flexibility cope with the delivery via herself. once you spot the relatives surrounding the mummy you will easily understand that she has given delivery. The clutter will selection from one to severn infants yet 2 or 3 is regularly a classic. I advise you %. each and every newborn toddler up and provide it a speedy wellness examine just to ensure that this is okay. so a techniques as i will make certain it relatively is going to be okay to leave her with the male on an analogous time as she is pregnant yet I cant assure. additionally the burden loss application you have stored you female on ought to shop the comparable you need to locate that she eats that little bit greater. you additionally can prefer to take her to the community vets to ensure that she is okay and each situation is going nicely. desire this enables.
