Was the drive working before this happened was the cd you put inside of the first time you used it if so then possibly a bad cd. All cd rom drives except for the real old ones have a hole to put in it a paper clip size hole push foward slowly and it will unlock the drive and shove the front pannel foward of the cdrom drive.

See if the computer detects the CD drive during bootup or using the My Computer icon (if so, try to eject it from there, rather than manually). If it's not detected, there could be a problem with the power connection, in which case, you can open the PC, unplug the power to the CD ROM, plug it back in and retry.

The best way to get a stuck disk to eject is to get a paper clip, bend it so that you have a long straight bit.
Look at the front of the drive and you will see a small hole, gently push the paperclip in untill you can feel it stop, then push it gently more and the drive tray will slowly open.

first open side panel of computer then go to were your cd drive is located (at top) then go to the back of your drive and see if the power conector is in it if not plug it in but before all that make sure the data cable is pluged up properly if not fix it by pushing it in then turn on computer and check if it does not open then buy a new drive and pull the cables out and unscrew the side of the cd drive and pull it out of the front (must get front panel off to install a new cd drive otherwise it will be harder) then slide the new one in and plug the cables up and close up the computer and when the computer is loaded up it should recognise and install your new hardware also check before sliding in your new drive to see if it is set to cable select or master if not u need to set it (default is set to cs-cable select) -the he=arder way to do this without having to take off the front panel u have to remove the power supply which to do that uneed to go to the back of the computer and remove the four screws lined up in a square around the power cable and fan on the back (be sure to have your hand under the power supply when taking it out cause it will fall) after that u lie it down (u can let it hang and u dont have to disconnect it from the moterboard or your hard drive) now just let it hang and remove the drive remove the side screws and slide (backwards) and then place your new one in its place then put the cables in (making sure it is set to cs-cable select or m-master) and put back in the power supply alining it with the four holes and then getting a screw in one and tighting it after u got the power supply in plug it back up and powering on the pc and once booted up it will install your new cd drive and u can use it. to get the new cd drive u can go to best buy or circut city and buy one from them cheap too. good luck and i hope this all here was useful.

There is a tiny hole on the front of it. Use an unfolded paper clip to "pop" it open - just press it into the hole and you can manually eject it.
You might have two cds in there, or dirt.... or gum :)

My best suggestion is, if your running windows, reboot the system and try ejecting if it doesn't work then you could have a loose/bad power cable or the drive could have gone bad on you.
