LOL! What a fun question! I do it all the time! But don't you just love it when people sing and don't realize they're singing the wrong lyrics?!!! Example: I Shot The Sherrif - a girl at work was singing "I shot the sparrow!" I kid you not!!!!! And 'She's A Brick House' was sung by my friend as "She's a break out!" And as far as purposely changing lyrics, one of my faves is changing "Wind Beneath My Wings" to "You Are The Wind Beneath My Jeans". My friend use to sing the Blood, Sweat and Tears hit "You Make Me So very Happy" as "You Make Me So Very Horny!"

Yes. Like the song "Better Man" by Pearl Jam, I change it to "can't find the butter bread..." You don't know what the he ll I'm talking about, do you?

My husband always changes the words to songs, and they're a lot funnier than the real words!

I'll do that all the time and not even realize it until maybe the third time I sing it that way in my head. I thought it was just me!!

lolllllllll but of course.... there are many songs that are so hokey that i cannot help but change the lyrics to amuse myself .... and sometimes to piss off ppl who actually like the song.....
