Kind of... They call for an ideal that is unattainable by those who truly seek power. It is the contradiction of life for those who seek power when they claim the moral high-road and really never intended to deliver on their campaign promises.

No more so than Democrats claiming to be for the Working Man and then voting for Minimum Wage increases that cost jobs, and more regulations on industries that cause employers to outsource jobs overseas.
