If not, is it best to smash pumpkins on the porch, driveway, or street? Looking for some fun tonight. : )

depends on if it is your pumpkin or not. If not then it is vandelism. If it is your's do what you want but clean up after yourself because if left on public property or others property that is littering. So stay in your driveway with your pumpkin.

why don't you run over some little girls' kitty while you are at it? I remember carving pumpkins with my family and they all got smashed the next day. I haven't carved a pumpkins since. Actually now, I think it's kinda funny. I have never done it but it sounds kinda fun...but when it happens to a little kid who worked so hard on it, it hurts.

I heard of a bunch of guys who use to steal them from porches, and do all kinds of things like train bowling. They would roll them under moving trains and if they made it through without getting smashed it was a strike. Also a fun thing that I remember them doing with them was to hurl them out the window of a moving car at mailboxes and such. Another fun thing that I heard they did was stick them in a shopping cart and hold on to the cart out the side of the window and crash the cart with the pumpkins into a utility pole. Another fun thing to do was take them to a safe place and shoot them with shotguns. All kinds of autumn fun with pumpkins. Good luck and have fun.

No. Yet, stay the hell out of the street. You'd be obstructing traffic. Which can draw some fines. However, altogether smashing pumpkins can be quite cathartic. Get to it!

yes it is, thats dangerous in the street as they are slippery, and if you do it on anyones private property it is destruction of private property, so grow up you twit and spend your time doing something decent.

I think it's illegal and cruel -- you could be reported to the SPCP. (littering -- not good).
