I am looking to build a computer and I don't want to build it before the AMD 4x4 comes out. Does anybody know when it will come out and how much it is expected to cost.

Why do people answer if they don't know. 4x4 motherboards are supposed to be coming out this month actually, don't know the exact date though. I also haven't heard anything about prices, except that AMD has said you will be able to get the processors need for "well under a $1000." This is interesting, because currently the only processors that will work in 4x4 are the FX-62s, which are about $600 a piece, so two would run you $1200. Honestly I wouldn't invest all that money in it, since you can't really use 4 cores for much of anything. I would recommend just buying the standard AM2 socket board and then upgrading to the new AMDs coming out next summer, they will be much faster than the current ones and they will have true quad-core processors availabe.
