Your baby will not put on the rounding (chubbing up) weight until shortly before birth.. Remember your baby and you are working to create an entire human being up until the very end of pregnancy when all systems are in place all nutrients etc are used for construction so baby will be rather skinny until the end when he/she will chub up a bit ... Also most babys are born rather skinny especially the arms and legs which will chub up over a few weeks (3-4)... The babys face will also chub up a bit after birth so he/she will have the nice round chubby cheeks classic in babies...
At 20 weeks your babies construction is only 1/2 done things will round (chub up ) out nearer the end don't worry...

Baby's still growing! I got a video of my 20 week ultrasound and some of it made my daughter look like an alien! She's gorgeous now! The doctor would be able to tell if something is wrong, don't stress about it.

It's ok in the last month the baby gains 1/2 pound a week u have plenty of time. Plus all it'l gain before then. It's just really early to say plus alot of docs don't give ultrasounds until atleast 22 weeks neway. No need to worry

I don't think so. Ultrasounds always look kind of distorted, and at 20 weeks, the baby is going through some serious development. What he/she looks like now is probably not what you'll see when the baby's born.
Don't worry.

the baby hasn't started fattening up yet. this is normal. during your last month of pregnancy is when the baby fattens up. plus, just because both of you have round faces doesn't mean that the baby will too.
if the baby didn't look normal for a 20 week old fetus then the doctor would have said something.

There is still plenty of time for the baby to grow. Give it time. Maybe the baby is born with a skinny face. So what? God gave it the face He wanted and you will love that baby no matter the size or shape. relax! you should be fine!

Ultrasounds are very distorted and hard to see actually what the baby looks like. I think the dr would have said something if he thought something was wrong. Congrats on the little one!

Don't worry right now. It is still so early. Ultrasounds do not give a real clear picture and features can be past from other family members, like your mothers or fathers, sometimes even cousins. My son has a few features of one of my cousins.

You baby really hasn't developed fat yet, it will start to develop fat soon though. I wouldn't worry too much about how skinny your sweetie's face is at this point, it is still developing and you still have 20 weeks to go before it's fully developed and ready to come out.
