Soft rock will only draw you further in the depression, listen to something loud and that gets your adrenaline pumping! Rammstein, Slipknot, ACDC, just plain phucking hard rock that gets your adrenaline soaring and you release that anger through the music! Because depression is just anger pulled inward and not being released outward. Just throw it down with some goddamn metal or hard rock!! Don't sulk with soft rock with soft tunes that will keep you elevated and make you think on why you are depressed! I guarantee you, you will feel a whole lot hell better if you listened to one of them bands i mentioned up there than you would if you listened to some elevated, slow, soft rock song. During listening to the fast, rock songs, if you feel the need to move and just go with the music do so! Let it out, let the banging drums take you away the damn rifs cut that depression up and make you into a man and not a withdrawn depressed soft rock listening chair moping boy!

You Make Me Feel Like Dancin' (Leo Sayer)
I Can See Clearly Now (Johnny Nash)
Joy To The World (Three Dog Night)
Ooh Child (5 Stairsteps)
Don't Look Back (Peter Tosh & Mick Jagger)
Most of the Beatles stuff!
Try contemporary christian music like KJ-52 or Avelon
Walkin' On Sunshine (Katrina and the Waves)
Good luck! Hope you feel better!

"It's so nice to be with you" by Gallery, it's an old 70's song, but it's still good, it's an upbeat song!

"Let it Play" by Poison...That song always works for me; it's kinda goofy and you have to be a Poison fan, but hey... what can I say.
