There's the old stand-bys... like abortion, homosexuality, etc. but they've been done too much as it is.

How about the new issue of gender segregation in classrooms? It's fairly new, hasn't been driven into the ground, and would likely make an interesting paper, debate, etc. The reason proponents want to separate boys from girls is the recent research showing how girls and boys function and learn in various courses when mixed with the other sex. You should be able to find something on it with a google search.

Good Luck!

Two Sided Issues

How about our two-party-monopolized political system?

Republican vs. Democrat & how the predisposition of the common American to the party they worship blinds them from making a personal decision of who the best candidate(s) are for any given position/seat?

Very relevant with the upcoming elections and (in my opinion) somethign that is driving a division of our country. I bet you get an A+!

i think u can try:

- nurture VS. nature
a very interesting topic. is nature more impt. than nurture or vice versa. the internet has many sources on this topic.

- race vs culture or ethnicity

i feel that the second one is more interesting. u can actually question whether for example, a chinese would neccessarily be a taoist? coz many people labelled people as that. and u can go deep into what is race? and what is culture?

Hmm... I am guessing you mean two views or opposing viewpoints. Try pure-bred dogs vs mutts.... or marriage vs living together.... or the health benefits of caffiene or no caffiene... you can go in so many directions!!
