Breast or bottle feed it, clean bottles, use a breastpump, bleed, wake up in the middle of the night for feedings, walk a path in the carpet trying to calm a cranky baby, learn to determine the differences in cries. Bathe a baby, change diapers, including the shitty ones. Worry, fret, take tempratures, learn the route to the emergency room in your sleep, fill up a minivan with baby things for a 5 minute trip to the store.

You..concieve the baby...you grow the baby...you deliver the baby...you raise the baby....then the baby never leaves home....you never again experience only looking out for yourself...(now "you" are "Two") ...or more...(OH GOD).....your life and....body....will never ever again be the same...babys do that to a mom...Not saying children arnt an awesome experience...if ones mature enough for it. Did i mention that they are rather $$$$$$$ to raise also...?

Wake up at 3 am to a screaming baby, who isn't hungry... doesn't want to be held... doesn't want to lay in the crib... doesn't need a diaper change...doesn't want to sit in the bouncy seat... doesnt want to sit in the swing... all the while, pulling my hair out.

you take care of it. change diapers a lot of them, feed, bathe, burp, take to the doctors, deal with it being sick, hope for a day off and a reliable baby sitter. good luck

i will play with him and purchase many toys
