Yes, I know that Tigger was the character from "Winnie the Pooh." ...and YES, I realize that the Tigers did win an actual title (A.L. champs) eventually in 2006.

I would like to see Bonds stay in S.F., but if he goes, they I hope he goes to a team that has a shot at winning the World Series!

The Tigers have absolutely no need for Barry Bonds in the outfield.. The will pursue Soriano or Carlos Lee, but then would end up moving either Monroe or Granderson.. and either move would be a stop gap until Cameron Maybin is ready for the big leagues.. (scouts liken him to Ken Griffey Jr, Maybin is a better fielder than Granderson, had 30 to 40 steal capability, 30 to 35 homerun power and a likely 285 to 295 major league hitter, only deficit is he strikes out too much, but he compensates with alot of walks..)

Approaching this question from a logical answer.. The only way Detroit would agree to Bonds is if he was willing to take a one year deal, perhaps wioth an option, incentive laden.. and he would be willing to be a full time DH.. Since Bonds' ego would not permit any of those things to happen, he won;t be coming to Detroit.. And Detroit's money is better spent elsewhere at this point in Bonds' career anyway..

no one wants Bonds dude. that guy is a joke. Tigers are going to take there poor young talent and do the same thing the Tigers always do, LOSE. even if they do get Bonds..he can only DH. just watch, NO American League team will pick up his sorry a|s|s.
