What exactly are they posing as? They both have songs that are overplayed, but that's only if you listen to the radio. If you buy a CD, you can appreciate the music a lot more. and Panic! at the Disco is partly electronica, so I'm not really sure what you think they are trying to be... because there aren't a lot of good electronica bands, so why would they pose as that? Be more specific and less judgemental...

P!ATD. At least FOB has been around for a long time. They just weren't noticed as much til recently. Plus P!ATD plays up the punk look, but yet their songs are techno-poppy. Doesn't really make sense to me. But I admit I still find some of their songs catchy.

I'd have to go with Fall Out Boy, only because Pete Wentz somehow managed to be a bigger douche than all the members of Blink 182 combined.
At least Panic! At the Disco have a cello as to not be so obvious.

i HATE FOB and P!ATD is ok i havent listened to em in months but yeah theyre not as bad posers as Simple Plan and Good Charlotte

Fall Out Boy is awesome. Panic! at the Disco sucks, they are a poser band.

they both suck
if i had to pick who sucked more........it'd be panic at the disco.
but both suck too much for any liking.
they both pose as good alternative punk bands........but sadly they just waste radio time.
