IT wasn't a hurricane machine that cause the destruction!!! What caused the distruction was the lack of funding for the levy's making them weak. Who vetoed the funding?? Was it the republicans or was it done when the democrate had control? Not sure.
What I am sure of is we are not prepared for any treats against us after all the tax dollars that has been spend on being prepared. That the person whom he put in charge for what ever reason wasn't capable of handling the situation.

This question is a perfect example of why we libs are at a loss as to how to relate to the conservatives. You see, it wasn't the hurricane that had us pissed, it was the aftermath. It was the usual bs from the top that left thousands to languish in filth, hungry and homeless. Perhaps if you can try to understand it from that viewpoint, the human one, you will no longer feel a compulsion to ask silly questions.

Can't blame him for the hurricane. You can blame him for his government's ***-backwards response to AMERICANS in need. If he could jump in his plane in the middle of the night to sign a law to help a brain-dead vegtable, you would think he would have used all of his power to ensure Americans were not trapped in an American city for days on end.

Instead, he was in California eating some damn birthday cake with McCain. He was doing his impression of Nero while Rome burned to the ground.

Pathetic

Katrina wasn't a product of Bush's hurricane machine....it was a message from God, he was pissed at us for re-electing him.
