zen is getting a complete makeover the new 1 looks more like the new model of wagon R but is far better, superb interiors and very spacious it will hav a diesel engine for sure and is likely to b launched by march april 2007

Yes, Maruti Udyog Ltd. is presently modifying the engine of Maruti 800. Probably it will be launched By March 2007. The company is also modifying the Zen engine. It will also be launched by March2007. Other option in Zen will also be there which will be a diesel engine.

The government is likely to announce new excise rules for automobiles based on their engine capacity and overall size, for the next budget. you can be sure that no manufacturer will be launching any brand new vehicles until the budget is announced. Expect the Nissan variant from Suzuki (it is actually a 5 year old Suzuki model) to be lauched around then
