Well go up to her and say something like "why are you always being rude to me?" if she doesn't think so tell her "well I'm getting the feeling that you don't like me." You also said she is very personal well you may just want to tell her that you don't feel comfortable talking to her about such things and that you don't know her very well. Or as a last resort try to avoid her.

No matter how much you dislike her, approach her for anything. When she tries to ask personal questions, just tell her, "Auntie, please don't mind but I am a reserved sort of person and feel uncomfortable with much talking and communication. I have a problem maintaining family relationships with people other than the family so please don't let it hurt you but it is just not in my nature to be like a daughter to you. I am sorry for that." Then, walk away. She may not like that but then she will at least be cold to you and you will be spared of her prying nature. If she continues to pester, then you have no option but to find a new place for yourself.

Why do not you opt for a flat (an independent one with defined criteria? Your only relation with that lady is that of a "landlord" and a "tenent". You should allow her space which you wish to or things are going to go out of hand. Sooner the better. Do not worry that she is your friend's aunt. Take your friend in confidence and start defining the domain.

Its better that, you keep away from her, leave her on her own. If you try to make you relations better, they are going to go worse. Becuase whatever she will do or say, you are going to get wrong meaning from her, and so do her for you. You two have already made up opinions about each other. Dont do anything. Let the things be as it is.

It appears that she is jealous of you and her husband, thus the disrespect and appears she would like you to relocate.
Whatever you do, send it in writing and keep a copy. If you have a lease you are bound to it and penalties may apply if you vacate the property. If you want to remain I suggest you avoid contact with her it appears she's looking for trouble.

IF you keep talking to her husband, she may become even more confrontational!!! Speak up, to her, and tell her when she steps over the line with her questions. Also put how you feel about her and her questions.....OUT FRONT!!
Good luck. Pops

Maybe you can just tell her that you respect her as a landlord but you feel that she is sometimes confrontational. Then again, maybe she doesn't mean to be and you are just taking it the wrong way.

Well, try and sit down and have a chat with her. Tell her that you do like her and respect her....just make up some BS....so she starts to like you! If you feel her attitude towards you hasn't changed...then move somewhere else!

One of the answer may be in yr sentence " I usually talk to her husband about things.............." She may want to explore yr thinking.......or
May want to share her feeling...Just try to go close to her and talk what she think abt family... I mean behave like her ever best friend and wait for result .....
