You should get checked by your doctor. You could have pre-eclampsia, whcih causes your liver to breakdown and can give you the feeling that something is gnawing out your guts.

Your almost to the point where the top of your uterus (fundus) is sitting under your ribs - this is reached by 36weeks - that means that the babys bottom is sitting just below your ribs and his head is just above the rim of your pelvis - this is why you feel as you do . A previous answer indicated that the way you feel might be due to pre eclampsia but this is not the case. Its quite simply because the baby is now running out of room and until the head begins to descend into your pelvis from 36 weeks onwards then you will feel like you are being torn apart inside - it wont last, when the head descends you will feel much more comfortable.
Try warm baths to ease the pain , simple pain killers like paracetamol are fine or just try different positions to sit in/lay in ....hope this helps.

At 35 wks the baby is getting very big and there is probably not a lot of room in there so you are feeling very very uncomfortable. If you are really worried contact your midwife or Doctor. When I was carrying my 4th child I felt like that from about 4 months onwards. 24/7 until week 39 when he finally arrived.

I'm 35 weeks too
I'm not sure about how you feel. I have a constant dodgy stomach (nausea/diarrhoea), baby's feet kicking me in the ribs, Braxton Hicks contractions etc but I wouldn't say I feel like my inside are being "ripped out". I would check this with your doctor in case its something serious.

Have you been told that your baby is the breach position, ie bum first. It could be that the baby is turning round.
My second was breach until 36 weeks, and when she turned it was so painful.
Call the Midwife or delivery unit at the hospital, and tell them what you are feeling, they may want you to come in to be monitored.
Best of luck.

Get it checked out by midwife. Ring her straight away. I have had 3 kids and never felt like that, but everyone is different. So just to be on the safe side check it out. You may be in labour. Hope it works out for you.

i felt exactly the same, its due to ur muscles all being stretched out of proportion i think, thats what my midwife told me. Really try to take it easy, get someone to wait on you hand and foot if possible!
