Robby Gordon, October 2006, Atlanta, threw roll bar padding out of his car to get a caution. Docked 50 owner points, 50 driver points, & fined $15,000.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., 2004, Bristol, intentionally spun himself out to get a caution.
Docked 25 points & fined $10,000.

Kurt Busch, 2002, Charlotte, intentionally spun Jeff Gordon out to get a caution.
Fined $10,000.

Just looking at these, I think NASCAR needs to be more consistent with the penalties they give.

This has happened several times in all NASCAR divisions. And until this past race there were not any penalties given out.Other than sending a driver or 2 to the end of a longest line nothing had been done.
The items thrown out have included ,roll bar pads, drivers gloves, water bottles. There is no one track that this has happened at.This has gone on for years and it will happen again.
But will NASCAR give out the same penalty?

dale jr. for one admitted it about a year or so ago. i said it then and i will repeat it now.
if you intentionally cause a caution, nascar should park you for that race, the rest of the season and ALL of the next season. dock you ALL of your owner points, ALL of your driver points, and fine you at least $1,000,000 per occurance.
