Apsolutly it is, there is no reason why you should have an abortion. If people would wait until marrage to have sex in the first place, They wouldn't have the problem of an unwanted child. And besides so many other people want to have a child and can't, so if more people would give their unwanted child up for adaption, then more people could get the child they have always dreamed of.

I believe it is a personal decision that only the girl or woman can make and No one should judge anyone for having an abortion unless they are God. May religious people are very judgmental and that is a sin in the eyes of God as well. So, they should remember that and be forgiving like my God is. If the baby can't be brought up in a healthy and happy home with people that can afford to care foe it or if it may be deformed or sick because of drugs I think it is just as important to think about the baby's life and future in the world and how it will be taken care of. If someone is struggling with this they should talk to someone before they do it. Maybe someone at planned parent hood, they aren't judgmental like clergy would be. It needs to be a decision made with a lot of thought, about what you will feel like, will you regret it and be hard on yourself later? If so, it might not be the right thing, it should put your mind at ease and not make you feel bad about yourself. Then if you do go through with it, make sure it doesn't happen again. Drugs and alcohol cause us to act in a way that we wouldn't ordinarily and you need to think about that. No birth control is 100%, they all fail at least 6-15% of the time and most people don't think about that. So, it this is what you are going to do, please do it and change your life for the better. It's never OK to use abortion as a birth control method because you have no control over your actions. Stop the drugs, get your life together and take the opportunity to change yourself and your actions so it won't happen again. Forgive yourself but don't let yourself forget how it happened. OK? good Luck.

depends......personally i wish abortion was against the law and punishable by death but it isn't.....I am 20 and I have two children a 2 year old and a 5 month old and i would never want to dream of what my life would be like if i had murdered my babies, I really think that there are way to many girls and adult women who think it is ok to go have sex and as soon as they find out they are pregnant go and get an abortion and continue to do it, I think that if you are old enough to play under the sheets like and adult then they need to accept the consequences like an adult...and then afterwords if they still feel that they are not ready for a baby just yet give the baby up for adoption......Now i do think if a pregnancy is a true harm to the baby or the mother or both then it should be ok to terminate the pregnancy but only that.

Personally, I think it is. At around 8 weeks the baby is experiencing heart rates. So it is considered a human being and not a sack of tissue you can toss out. Really, even if it wasn't your choice, this baby could grow up to change the world. If you give in to abortion, you re not giving this baby a chance at life. Think about it, what if your mother was questioning this about you. Would you rather not have your first steps, dates, kisses, etc?Life is important, so speak up for someone who cant. think if you were a baby knowing that no one wanted to give you a chance before they even knew what you looked liked or what your name was. if your are not physically, emotionally, and spiritually ready for this part of your life. Give the child to parents you know will help your child succeed t o the top!

I personally couldn't do it. I think it is wrong because you are taking a life that is not your place to take. They're are situations in which a person might consider abortion such as incest or rape. But the other choice is adoption. There are plenty of families that would love to adopt for various reasons such as can't have their own or just want to give another human a chance at life. I was adopted when I was 5 days old and I think that it took greater love for her to carry me for 9 months and give me up she never saw me I am 40 now. I thank God that she didn't abort or I wouldn't be here.

Well, I suppose the answer depends on one's perspective. For many abortion is wrong because of their belief system and how they define "life". For others it is an acceptable and appropriate choice especially when the curcumstances you included in your question exist.
The key here is that in the US you have a choice, in other places around the world you don't. Whether your choice is right or wrong is for no one to judge but yourself based on your own values and morals. You need to be informed and consider all the options; you need to listen to all the pros and cons and understand the ramifications of whatever choice is made. Remember, you need to be able to live with the choices you make. The wonderful thing about the United States, is that you are free to make this choice.

Yes. A baby is a beautiful blessing and if you kill it before it has a chance to live a life that could bring you or other people happiness than its most definitely wrong. We should not be murdering someone by our mistakes, even if you are a teen.

There is no one correct answer to your question - everyone has their own opinion about this topic, so it really depends on the situation and person to decide. As someone once said "If abortion is murder, then masturbation is a genocide." But you don't see men stressing about this, or people labeling them as murderers for killing thousands of sperm, do you? The double standard is unbelievable - so many hypocrites out there. If someone is so concerned about women aborting their babies, why don't they visit orphanages - there are millions of children out there waiting to be adopted, while this number is growing each day - if people are so concerned about this - why do so many of these children remain in the orphanage without anyone taking them in? It's easy to judge and criticize others when you haven't walked a step in their shoes.

Yes.
I was a drug-addicted teen when I found out I was pregnant. I did what I had to do and now I have a healthy, beautiful, awesome little boy that does nothing but bring joy to my life. Every time I look at him I think, I don't deserve him, he's too wonderful.
