Yes! My 3 month-old miniature schnauzer puppy is sleeping on a pillow next to my desk right now!
Unless you're talking about the really bad movie that came out this year, also known as "Stay". Honesty IS the best policy.

Depends upon the time. At night they may lay, but in the morning they must wake up so they can pull the dog sled.

I try to...the saying is almost like "don't poke the bear." Unfortunately like most people curiosity gets the better and we must wake the dog to ask the question.
