I can never sleep. I usually go to bed around 1-2am, get up at 5-6am with the kiddos. Nothing I've found helps me sleep, but I've been an insomniac since I was little.

I have trouble sleeping because I have anxiety and I lay awake at night thinking about "what if's".....things that haven't even happened yet (and hopefully won't). I also have an 11 month old sweet baby and I get up to check on him a couple times a night. I turn the tv on to something silly and funny, like "friends" and I play an electronic solitaire game. For whatever reason, that takes my mind off my anxiety and helps me fall asleep. If not, I come downstairs and turn my computer on and.....here I am:)

Do you've gotten this situation the entire time? I typically most effective sleep underneath four hours an afternoon, which is not a situation for me. When persons sleep at night time, they typically most effective get two-four hours of lucrative R.E.M. (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep. The situation is that it typically takes 6-10 hours for such a lot persons to get the ones two-four hours of R.E.M. I move right into a R.E.M. state close to instantly, so I don't have any disorders with feeling worn out afterwards. I honestly HATE sound asleep. It is this type of waste of time. Think approximately it: should you sleep eight hours an afternoon, while you flip 30, you've gotten slept for 10 years of your lifestyles!!! That is rediculous!!!!

I have a routine down-listen to radio talk shows for an hour or two in the dark. I also find that when I exercise I sleep better. It's really a tough problem, you should see a doctor to determine what would work best for you. I had severe sleep deprivation when my daughter was a newborn and I almost had a nervous breakdown.

i have been dealing with sleeping problems ever since i got my fibro, a muscle diease, and what happens is i could be tired but my mind does not shut down, so you need to go to your doctor and find what would work for you, i take seroquel, the main thing people take this drug for is like bi polar, but what it does is shut your mind down and you can't concentrate on one thing for more than a minute and becuase you mind itsn't going a hundred miles and hour you fall asleep within a half an hour, and there are other medication that could do that to, but i take this one becuase normal sleeping medications do not work for me all they do is make me restless, this is strong enough and it works, when i wake up i feel fine and ready to go, becuase you get a nice deep sleep, and i have a 3 month old little girl and if she does wake up i'm up in a minute, must be a mom thing LOL and just remember when you aren't getting enough sleep your body will slowly shut down, you'll start to get jumpy and annoyed at people for little things you won't feel like doing anything and then get depressed,

I have a lot of trouble sleeping. Especially now, as I have a broken heart - and of course all I really want to do is sleep and wake up in about 6 months time when the pain is gone!!
Sleep tea with passionflower & chamomile helps, but does make you wake up feeling tired & heavy the next morning (but at least you've slept!)

I have trouble sleeping because I can never turn my mind off. I am always thinking and analyzing my life. If I am not analyzing I am planning or agonizing about something. It's nonstop. I have to try my best to turn my mind off. I try to think of nothing, darkness. It eventually works but it takes a long time for me to convince my brain that it is for my own good !! lol
Good Luck
