By the way, most scientists do not invent things, they discover ways that nature works.
Try Isaac Newton. He developed the laws of gravity.

Newton is a good place to start, but geeze man there are more scientists then you could count. You could say the guy who invented the wheel, or the cavemen who first smashed a rock against something to break it.
