i can tell him to stop if he does not listen and still beats my mother i will call the police but i will not kill him, i will rather not own him as my father. but that is my last resort, after all he is still family but if he doesn't repent then there's no point staying with him

You must understand one thing: Your father and the gambler are two different individuals that exist in one body. Gambling is a sickness, disease, addiction.... and need to be treated as any other illness. So, if you really want to help him, call gamblers anonymous or go on line and search for the companies and groups that offer help to the people with this problem. there is lots u can do, one way is to report all this to the police. if yr dad still beats yr mom , just dial 999. but first warn him. if he deters yr warning then he should be caught. or u can have a report made at yr NPP closest to yr home.
2nd - is to move out.. pack yr bag and yr mom , then stay at relative.
3nd- is to talk to him . simple as that

but i think 2 and 3 ans is not for u , then be heartless to him . cause he is heartless to u and yr family.
it happens to me, but i did the right thing.
now my dad is a good man, he come home then go out weekends with my family.. i like that . and i don u to follow what i used to go throught..

So when he ask for money to gamble,you say already used it in old forks home.

And if he stays there than your mother wouldnt be beaten
