I believe that Denilson can be put on the same level as Ronaldo and Rivaldo.
Salas was a good player who's fame was restrained coz he played in a country like Chile, meaning that he couldn't get the proper sevice to score a lot of goals.
Of the three, I think Alen Boksic is the best. I have always loved this player. Croatia was a relatively new country in the footballing world, and he could not get his proper recognition. Moreover, every1 was raving about Davor Suker, n so Boksic, though being part of Croatia's golden generation, was completely forgotten. But i can never forget that he scored the goal to deny Arsenal the league...

Not really, I never understood why Denilson wasn't in some big club, the whole world knows how good he is, but he never had a chance to prove him self!!! The problem with Boksic was that the best years of his international career was stopped because of the war, so the rest of the world couldn't see his potential and after the war he had some problems with the injuries, Croatia even called him for WC2002 but he was not that good any more ( he was 32 years old)!!!! I don't think Salas was that good, he was good but not great!!!

Denilson was once the world's most expensive footballer when he moved to Real Betis, but he led them to relegation and his career went downhill from then on.
Salas was good when he was at Lazio, but when he moved to Juve he couldn't settle, and fell out with the management, eventually going back to South America.
Boksic was a top goal scorer, even when he went to Middlesbrough. He didn't get recognition because he didn't play for a big club? (Apart from Lazio)

Denilson de Oliveira: I don't think he is needed in his team, there are more better players than him!
Marcelo Salas: I think your right he's realy good, while realy underrated!
Alen Boksic: I don't know him!

Hi Andy!!!
Salas defintely deserved more recognition than he received, he was a fantastic player to watch!!!
As for Boksic... such a strong player and his resume is brilliant, but (I believe) because he didn't play in Croatia's very successful 1998 WC team because of injury, recognition he deserved elluded him, plus Croatia had their Golden Boy (and rightly deserved) Suker!!!
