my bf says i should shave my private areas. i feel a little uncomfortable. what do you think? and any tips?

Only do what you are comfortable with. If this makes you feel weird or you are questioning it, then don't do it. On the other hand, you could try it once and see what you think. If you don't like it, then remember it is hair and it will grow back. If you decide to do this, then don't shave against the hair follicles like you would your legs... this can cause very painful ingrown hairs. Shave in the same direction as your hair grows, so down instead of up...
Whatever you decide, you need to make this decision for you and what you are comfortable with.

only shave if that's what u really want. everyone has there preference and if u don't want to shave then don't shave because that's what he said to do, he'll just have to deal with it. he'll eventually get use to the hair or even like or love it.
personally when i first started watching porn and watching all the drunk girls at are parties strip i found hairy crotches disgusting. and here's why i said he'll eventually at least like it hairy;
my fiance who I've been with 4 years now don't shave and at first when i put a hand down there i was turned off. but when i started seeing her completely nude being hairy was a major turn on in certain positions she'd lay or stand and the hair only showing. plus having a hairy crotch is makes you(woman) real.

YES! You NEED to shave. That is disgusting (no offense). Take your shower first. trim the hairs while you are sitting down with your legs spread wide apart. apply shaving cream or vasaline. shave upward. Get it all. Apply lotion or aloe. use baby powder in your underwear for a while. start out slowly but make sure you shave often enough so it won't get itchy...caus eif you go for like a week it will.. You'll get used to it after awhile. it will be weird at first. Nobody wants to lick/see/feel a hairy pu$$y. good luck!!

If you don't shave, give it a good trim. If you do shave be sure to use some deo down there or you will be itching. Using Deo right after you are done keep razor burn from becoming a problem,too. You don't wanna look like you have critters. LOL

All women should shave it into a little landing strip. It looks much better that way or bald.

My girlfriend shaves and I wouldn't have it any other way. It was her choice though... I would have never asked her..

Only shave if you want to and feel comfortable with it, not to please someone else.
Problems can develop from shaving there.
