You have to check the flarp switch on the console. That's the little red thing next to the blue thing inside the fusebox of the car, under the dashboard (but do not confuse the flarp switch with a fuse! A mistake like that cost me 50 dollars towing to the mechanic so he could plug a fuse back in for me!) When you flip the flarp switch, you'll get a reading on your MAC Access Control Indicator that tells you the answer. If you don't have the MAC Access Control Indicator, that's probably the reason you are having trouble locating the access point. Radio Shack probably has 'em (if you're talking about an American car).

If that doesn't work, try looking in the attic for the receptor vestibule, over by where the construction workers stacked the extra fiberglass insulation materials. Good Luck!

MAC handle is in basic terms the handle for Media get entry to administration layer, and that's Media, no longer Medium. Equate this to an IP handle being an handle for the internet Protocol layer. It in basic terms defines a gadget on the layer.
