No. I can't express myself *with* guidelines, or at least not fully.

On this I am. I would like to express myself sometimes but I have to honor the guidelines, so yes, on Yahoo Questions and Answers, I have to hold back a bit.

With the job I have I must be extemely sensitive to the feelings of others. I also know that words hurt more than anything else and they really cannot be taken back. I am not afraid of removing the guidelins, but I would probably still follow them.

Language is a guideline in itself, so if I tried to express my self totally without guidelines, I couldn't communicate with anybody!

Yeah I do hold back a bit and am a lot more careful of the language I use...and I found myself getting irate the other night at someone who was continually bashing Southerners and had to bite my tongue a lot! LOL But boy what I was thinking!

I'm not afraid. I'm just confused because then I don't know what to do. I stumble and I'm lost. with guidelines, - well- they guide me.

Yes, just in general. But with a friend's help, I now realize it is due to a fear of being misunderstood, and not from shyness.
