When i am on the toilet taking a dump i lose alot of blood. I bleed more than a person with a bad nose bleed. I have no idea if the source of the bleeding is internal or external since I can't see my own ***.

Is it most likely hemmoroids or is it something more serious? I do lose ALOT of blood sometimes and the water in m toilet will be blood red. It only bleeds when i take a dump. And no i am not going to the doctor about this because i am not gonna say "hey i a bleeding when i take a ****, can you please take a look?"

Do you want a bag attached to your stomach for the rest of your life to digest food? That could happen if you dont get your *** checked. You could have hemmoroids, you could have severe irritable bowel or you could even have developed something like cancer, GO GET IT CHECKED, even if it means saying doc look at my ***. Seriously go.

I actually had a similar situation. I read a lot on the throne sometimes.

I started to notice that when I wiped, I was seeing red.

I mentioned this to a friend (someone who's not shy about stuff like this).

I was told that if the stool is not a reddish brown color, and all I was seeing was bright red, then its most likely a hemorrhoid that bursts with prolonged sitting.

Because I'm somewhat affiliated with the medical field, I sort of knew what the proper stool color should look like. I knew mine did not have a reddish hue to it. So I felt alleviated.

A reddish tone in the stool itself probably indicates something very serious. I would see a doctor immediately.

Nose bleed red found on toilet paper might suggest a hemorrhoid.

My symptoms included itchiness down there. So I bought some of those anti-itch hemorrhoid capsules, and after I sh*t, showered and shaved, I would shove one up there. That really helped for the itch.

I stopped lingering on the throne too. I don't read there anymore. I just do the dump and move on.

Here is my bottom-line advice: You should talk about it the next time you see your doc. The doc is not going to be embarrassed that you bring up the topic, and he/she is not going to be embarrassed to check it out . Hemorrhoids are a common thing in their business.

Also, you shouldn't be so stubborn about having her/him check it out. It really could be something serious. Dude, don't let your health care take a second seat to your pride. You're seeing blood here! Its not normal, and its nature's way of telling you that something is wrong.

And, like in my case, it's probably just a hemorrhoid. Red blood convinced me. Dark stools would have gotten me to the doctor's office faster. If are young and in pretty good shape, just make sure you mention it on your next visit (which should be at least yearly). If your older, I would advise scheduling your yearly check up earlier this year.

Finally, don't spend too much time on your throne. Do it and get off.

This may be due a small rupture in the intestines and due to other problems. You may contact the Doctor to get the appropriate medical attention:
Healthy bowel motions are brown. If your faeces change colour, seek medical attention immediately, as some of the causes may include serious illnesses. Common colour changes and their range of possible causes include:
Red - blood smears on the toilet paper are usually caused by haemorrhoids or anal fissures. Bright red blood in the faeces (haemotochezia) usually means internal bleeding, and the causes could include bowel cancer or a bleeding stomach ulcer.

If you are unwilling to go to a doctor there is not much I can say. But I will say that what is going on is not a simple hemorrhoid. Bleeding is a possible sign of colon cancer and several other serious conditions. Think about going to the doctor.

Yes, you are going to a doctor, because he is the only one who can diagnose and fix this.

When you say you bleed while taking a dump and turn the toilet bowl blood red when you do so, I promise you, he is not going to laugh.

There will not be a smile on his face, and he will not laugh at you. At all. He will correctly regard this as a serious health matter. So, go see the doctor.

Actually it is most likely hemorrhoids or polyps. Polyps lead to cancer if untreated. A medical doctor has looked at more a**holes than you can shake a roll of toilet paper at. They expect you to come in and complain about blood in your stool. It's their job to give you a clean bill of health. Don't be an a**hole, go see a doctor.

Doctor is the way to go...as emBARE-ASSing (sorry, couldn't resist) as it may be, blood in the stool is not normal. Is it bright red or dark? If it's bright, chances are it's something more superficial like hemorrhoids or anal fissures (little tears around the anus...they sting like papercuts). Darker blood, or brownish blood, is likely something from farther up the GI tract . Either way, wouldn't you like to know for sure?

You should really go see a doctor. It could literally be as serious as cancer. Rectal bleeding is never a good sign.

Hemorrhoids don't usually bleed that much. Sounds like you got something wrong inside. Go see your doctor before you die.
