The answer of 1*1 = 1
Therefore the square root of 1= 1.

Given no other information I would determine that this is a single object that is an orange and so being single define it has the quantity and a numerical value 1. Given the above equations then the numerical value of the square root is still 1 and so therefore the quantity of Orange is still 1.

The conclusion is the square root of 1 Orange is 1 Orange and while it sounds strange fulfils the desciption and mathematics in the question .

Well, if we assign each letter of the alphabet a number, starting with A=1, the numerical value of "orange" is 60. The square root of 60 is approximately 7.75--unfortunately not a whole number. However, I would have to conclude that the square root of orange lies somewhere in between "bad" and "baad." Such might also be said about this question, so I suppose it's oddly fitting, huh?

Two (as in points, thanks).

Duh, I thought about it all night and woke up with the conclusion that the square root of orange could only be orange since it is the only thing that when multiplied by itself that would be orange.

Well if you meant the colour, it's the square root of the colour between red and yellow. There's no "in between" in colours if you're using different ones. So there's no answer?
