that it scared the crap out of me in 1978 when I was a teenager and i went on a first date to go see it. My date thought it was hillarious that I was scared of it. He laughed the whole way home ,needless to say i did not go on another date with him. Good luck and god bless.

Jamie Lee Curtis & PJ Soles. I think the plot was also a very good one. I liked the camera shots as well. And what topped it all off was the music. If they didn't have that music everytime Michael Myers appeared it wouldn't be as scary. It's simple, yet makes you scared. I loved this movie. Too bad they kept adding to it.

Halloween is an all time classic with Jamie Lee Curtis, I was lucky to see it when it first came out in the theater 1978, great....

The music. It actually scared me more than anything happening on the screen. I also LOVED the way Michael tilted his head when he killed that guy with the glasses.
