All the time on here, you see questions from republicans... "is ignorance bliss?" and questions from demecrats "I's it peaceful to never think for yourself?"

my question is who is really thinking more and who is just marching with the pack?

and the first person to say "demecrats never think" or "republicans never think" without backing it up will secure best answer to the other party. I just want your thoughts on this parodox.

Eric, most people are either too dumb or mentally lazy to think about real issues. That's why people argue over people's reputations instead of over different points on an issue. If you ask a serious question in a serious way, with lots of words.... your question is going to be ignored. People don't enjoy thinking (for the most part). Our soceity is very anti-intellectual.

I would like to hear some real talk about issues. Eric, I think a lot of the problem is that many people are too lazy to think for themselves. They want to go along with the rest of the pack.

People do follow the political stance for their particular party. Since they believe in it, they dismiss the other party as not "really" having one.

There are real issues: the tax cuts (keep them or not), immigration policy (comprehensive or deport w/fence), the unbalanced budget (both sides seem to agree on that one), etc.
