I am, and I hate it. because whenever (which is not often) my mom or sister, or whoever I know gets a message and I'm with them, I cant get one because I'm sensitive to the touch and I jump and cant stay relaxed because I'm way too tickilish. is there something i can do to change that?
I'd love to know what a message feels like

It's a MASSAGE. Message is what I get when I don't answer my phone.

ZaZa,
Massages come in different kinds of touch / pressure. You can get a very light massage, meaning the therapist's hands run over your body lightly, or you can get a medium to hard massage: one in which the therapist concentrates on your muscles. These tend not to tickle very much. Sometimes, they actually hurt a little (the benefit being the way you feel AFTER the area has been worked). Therapists are trained to touch all types of people, even ticklish, squeamish, sensitive people like you. You can request that they avoid your feet and concentrate on your back, or avoid your neck (I never let them touch my neck--it gives me shivers!) and work the shoulders. They will do whatever you request, and help you through your ticklish-ness. Don't be afraid to give it a try. Your therapist will help you get through it, and you will love it! Promise!

What you have to do is to tell the therapist you are ticklish. They can often change their method for you.

One possibility is use of more force on their strokes/touch. Not so much that it will hurt, but they can use firmer touch. Also, if you have area that you are particularly ticklish, they can avoid that area altogether.

Getting massage is not a passive thing. You have to constantly communicate with your therapist, at least in the beginning. Your dislikes, likes, how certain touch feels to you, etc. If you give more feedback, you'll get better results.

It's spelled massage hun. They feel wonderful. Maybe you should just learn to relax. They really don't tickle.

ahhhh, that's sad. I am one the lucky ones, I am not ticklish, so I tickle everyone else and they can't do it back!
