To paraphrase a great Man, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone…" There were no stones thrown that day. I am sure there would be none thrown by Democrats or Republicans today either. “No, there is none perfect not one…”

Neocons want to create the appearance of a mutually fierce battle on Yahoo Q@A but what you have here are regular folks (some hidden Republicans and non-Democrats too) trying to point to facts and reason with the Neocons and their operatives.
It's useless because on this board, many are paid Neocon operatives who want you to dislike Democrats. And they want Republicans to be afraid to question the party line. They bully, damn, have questions deleted and answers hidden. They have completely manipulated this message board.
It is an Enron culture where competitors, lied, stabbed each other in the back, stole each others accounts and clawed their way to the top while toppling common people's retirement funds.
Neocons used audience surveys and tests to learn how to successfully attack and silence people.
Check this article. The Republicans realize the Neocons have stolen their party and they and want them out!

Read other the media about their slimy gay prostitute using meth reverend, the mistress beating senator, the sexual harassing senator and all the other stories about the pedophiles -- there are at least 70 of them. Why would any sensible, moral person support this Party? It's time for a change.

Its called divide and conquer. Get the people to argue with each other. This creates some measure of uneasiness and instability. Present yourself as a leader who will make the uneasiness go away and restore the instability. Get elected.
Republicans use moral self-righteousness to create the unease. Democrats use voter self-pity to create the unease.
The greater the arguments, the more the uneasiness and the worse the instability the more people will follow like sheep. These same mindless idiots don't realise that they're being manipulated.

Actually, it has always been that way in this country. There were strong divisions since the signing of the Constitution (and before). However, it is up to the people of this country to speak up if we feel the present system is not working and no longer serves our interests. The funny part is, this is probably as good as it gets - you can change the names of the parties, but it will likely end up being the same thing in the long run.

As morals have ceased to exist in politics, the feeling that anything goes seems to have replaced civilized discourse. It doesn't help that over the last 4 decades the education system has atrophied, and relatively impartial source materials been replaced with a religion based set of revisionist text books based on "Rapture" mythology.

unfortunitly we do not live in a perfect world. Politics is dirty and always will be. Having two sides on important world issues is bound to have serious conflict. Its your job to decide what
party you tend to lean more towards wheather you have your completly own opinions or not. And make sure you vote!!

Getting elected means making more money (being a politician used to be a service, NOT a career). These guys are working to win so they can keep or get a job. It's business, not hate.

It all goes back to the Presidents action and the fact that you are supposed to follow the party line even if you do not agree with it so you are bound to attack one another, and that makes for a hateful situation.
