I say good luck to him! He's done amazing things throughout his life and has blessed the world with his energy far longer than most of us dare. Don't get me wrong though, he is and will always be one of the greats, he just deserves to golf, lounge, etc. Like the previous answer said, he's in his eighties and had one heck of a run!

Charles Shultz's last Peanuts came out the morning after he died.

Rod Roddy Price Is right's announcer stayed announcer untill he went into the hospital for what would be his last time (one month before he died)

I feel it is time for both him and the show to leave. He was a very handsome man in his time and known to be quite a womanizer. I don't feel particularly sad about it, he has had a great life and many people have enjoyed watching his show. I can't believe it was such a long running game show. Pretty amazing.

You mean Bob Barker is still alive??? :-)

It's a shame in some ways, but all good things must come to an end.

He is almost 83 so I guess it's time but I think I would keep going. Sometimes it seems that people go downhill fast after they stop working.
