Before you say he's a system QB, which is true, but so are every NFL QB's. Thats what its about, and he runs Hawaii's "system" almost to perfection.
131 QB Rating, 35 TD throws, 74% Completion. I'm not saying he deserves to win (not playing in a BCS confrence) , but should he be invited to New York?

If he wasn't even on the list in the beginning of the season he has no chance. The media makes up their minds who they think should be on the list before the season starts and those guys just keep switchin spots back and forth the whole season. Every once in a while you have a guy surprisingly show up on the list that wasn't there before, but soon after he's gone again. The media has the ability to dictate who gets noticed and who doesn't. It's just like recruiting where the programs that get the most exposure get the best recruits, so the candidates that get the most exposure get the most votes. There are plenty of guys like the guy you mentioned who very much deserve to be in the argument, but never will because he's not a favorite of the media.

i know mtneer is asserting this to get to me, using fact it incredibly is the main idiotic element every physique can think of. teach me the place it says a sophomore can no longer win it. i'm going to coach you Saturday that a sophomore can win it. I had Pat White in my genuine 4 over Brennan, and if Dixon could have been wholesome for something of the season he in all probability might have gained it (seem at how Oregon crumbled after he replaced into long gone). With all that pronounced, after Tebow and McFadden, it incredibly would not remember. If Troy Smith replaced into on a one-or-extra-loss Ohio State team final year, McFadden might have gained it as a sophomore. Tebow will win it this year. He has been the main consistent soccer participant all year, in spite of age, observed by capacity of McFadden in a no longer-too-distant, yet no longer very close, 2d place. Kevin Smith have been given his team a convention united states Championship. He replaced into astonishing to observe in individual. interior the subsequent couple of years, he will in all probability be a Heisman candidate, alongside with Knowshon Moreno and Percy Harvin. All 3 are opportunities. i do no longer know if any of those 3 are unavoidably "Heisman capacity", in spite of the indisputable fact that it must be argued that they could desire to be considered in coming years.

He should be. I'm a Hawaii native and fan. The guy is amazing. He puts balls into places most guys would never be able too. He was supposed to play for Colorado, but was in trouble with the law. He could easily be the first quarterback out after next season.

He should be, but he doesn't have a chance at the award. He's a junior and no one ever sees him play. However, he has some high profile games at the end of the season, so it should elevate him for next year.
