Fawning can resemble desperation, which is a major turnoff for me. I am intrigued by a man who acts like he doesn't need a woman but yet he is paying extra attention to me. This makes me think he might like me more than just any girl (crazy isn't it!). Keep me guessing, to a certain extent, and my desire level rises.

First you must be a Zeppelin fan! Me too! Oh and second, that used to intrigue me but I think that I realized that they are the ones who want the attention and do all sorts of things to get it. That is a waste of time in my book...you crave the attention that they have no intention to lavish on you..my ex was just like that! It gets old fast and a relief when you do not have to do it anymore.

Absolutely.
That's the best part of any relationship or infatuation or whatever you want to call it. That insecurity. Yet you try to figure the guy out. You start to adapt to what you figure to be his "dream girl". It's fun... I personally don't like it when guys fawn. I think it's boring and useless. I like a little mystery. It shows you're not the center of their universe but you're happy just to be in their orbit.

Honestly....it doesn't surprise me one single bit. should it? I am no raving beauty......my wealth is within.....I have myriad tales of love to tell.....that would singe the hairs off the backs of most of your necks.....i expect nothing from people...if I receive anything,..I am so surprised.......TRUTH.
NO. I do NOT crave attention. I fulfill my own needs. I also call the shots in all that i see and do. i seek the truth....I will have it and others WILL abide my decisions...they are very humanistic.
I prefer to have the same qualities in my mate and friends always or wwould rather be alone. NO fawning please.

I hate fawning, but it takes a lot more than the lack of it to intrigue me.

Yes, but only for a short while. If he plays this game too long, I lose interest. Finding balance is key ... when to fawn, when not to fawn.

Fawning is annoying. I had a guy come over to my house once and when I told him I was tired and was going to take a nap, he said he'd wait there for me to get up.

Ohhh I HATE that...can't stand being fawned over ...makes me crazy and puts me in a bad mood fast. Starts to make me feel suffocated...and also makes me think the man is trying too hard.
