I want to buy PlayStation games from America but can i play them here in Australia?

Only if they are PAL, any others and you're likely to screw up your beloved Playstation, and we wouldn't like that, huh?

You could but, you need to have a few things to do it. One would be a NTSC-PAL converter. Australian TV's do a diffrent type of frequency then Americans do. YOu have to find a converter for it if your going to get an American Ps2 and game. Mod chips should work on your ps2 but I am not sure if you need something else for the disk.
