Animal killing?

I'm in the woods and I see a herd of deer walking by. My friend just threw a huge rock at them and the buck is heading towards us... What should I do?

That'd scare it away. If not, be sure to bring a dog next time.

Your question is labeled animal killing... if you want to kill it, I'd suggest you bring a gun.
