Yes the new IE is a very good program. I downloaded the first beta and continued to download new versions as they were released. This version (the release version) isn't really the best though. The RC1 edition was better. However, if you don't like IE 7 there are alternitives. One which is use with IE is Firefox 2.0. Very good browser and pretty safe. Download at http://www.mozilla.com.

Meh, thebrowser closes anytime I open a new tab. I hadto go into Internet Options and disable the second homepage to even access the browser forthe first time. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled it twice. I also couldn't stand not having my File, Edit, View, Favorite, Tools, and Help menus, so I re-enabled them.

I prefered IE 6, but Mozilla Firefox pwnz them all.

It's somewhat an inferior ripoff of Firefox (which, by the way, is also faster).

No it froze my computer. Of course it could be the old computer I was using.
