Hi andygurl, I would have to go with Lev Yashin of Soviet Union.
Lev Yashin is the only goalkeeper ever to win the European Footballer of the Year Award in 1963. He is also believed to have blocked around 150 penalty kicks during his career; far more than any other goalkeeper in history.
My favorite is Dino Zoff!!

Lev Yashin wasn't called the Black Octopus (or Black Spider) for nothing. It was as if he had 8 arms to block every shot at the goal. He is FIFA's "World Keeper of the Century".

Dino Zoff is a very, very close second, having established a Guinness Record for logging the longest number of minutes without conceding a goal.

I salute these great goalkeepers of all time!

Lev Yashin was and will always be the Legend. He is the greatest keeper. My 2nd favorite is Peter Schmeichel - Danish Goal Keeper. He used to play for MU.

LevYashin is probably the best keeper out of all of them. Plus, they have a trophy named after him, kind of like the Cy Young Award for goalies.
My favorite though would have to be Zoff because he is Italian.
