Well since the waffles should be hot when you apply the butter it should melt. As for the syrup you can either buy syrup that can be microwaved in it's original container OR you could just squeeze some into a bowl and heat it up in the microwave. As for the waffles themselves all you need to do is layer the ingredients. I would do it this way: waffles, butter, peanut butter and then syrup. Of course if you wanted you could leave out the butter. It might make it difficult to spread on the peanut butter.

peanut butter. i just had it like this summer, when my house ran out of bread. so i ate pbj with waffles pretty good. better than syrup. i like it with smuckers grape jelly peanut butter. its great!
