We already do !
Look to the stars , there are billions of them that we can't see ... galaxies with three hundred million stars that we can see ... space that goes on past infinity.
Then look inside yourself, you have more than a billion brain cells and most of them go unused. Your spirit is eternal.
When humankind is truly educated and understands itself and when you know yourself ... you will know our own potential.
Then wars will cease and this world will need no borders , which are caused by stupid fear of our fellow beings.
And we need to share and care about each other.
Our limits are caused by all our own wrong ideas about the nature of our own being and each other.
Hopefully, we're learning.
It's an amazing life , filled with wonders, and a limitless world filled with even more wonders. Tune in to them.

Yes, we're living in the world of the Internet which connects us via the IT advancement and, thus, our world is without borders technologically.

Yes, provided the rich countries do not mind sharing their riches with others. The world is not so much divided politically, socially or geographically as it is divided economically. Most of the wars today are fought for wealth and riches, albeit in a very subtle manner with due camouflage.

it would be possible if we didn't live with personal borders. if you look at most cities they are divided into groups....if you took away all the borders people would still live with "their own kind" and that is a mix of fear and fellowship not just discrimination. people feel more comfortable with their own ethnic groups and i am not just speaking black and white that goes for German polish Irish etc....until we can push down these borders the other ones will still stand :(

What a wonderful place this would be if only that were possible. Maybe one day we humans will evolve to a point of being happy and allowing that type of world to exist here..

well if one country took over the whole planet and united it to one whole country, and was hopefully a peaceful leader then yea. optionally there would have to be extrmelely drastic happenings which would fulfill a peace like world ( like that great beatles song) but there would be that one, that one with the evil seed in his mind to corrupt and rule and take advantage
