He uses the shadow clone jutsu in like the first or second episode. And in the first arc, and against Kakashi, and... well hell, I could talk about this for friggin' HOURS UPON END.
But I refuse.
Bottom line is that he does, and quite often.

I think I answered another one of your questions earlier :P
He uses it in the battle against Neji (I don't think that Cartoon Network is there yet, so I won't spoil it for you)
Later, he pretty much drops it, and learns a technique called Ransegan (almost as destructive as Sasuke's Chidori) Again, CN isn't there yet.
