She was eventually captured along with her sister Betsy and other family members. She and her sister were sent to a concentration camp where her sister died. After the war Ms. ten Boom traveled the world speaking about her life and how God had delivered her. She wrote several books including; In My Fathers House, The Hiding Place and Tramp for the Lord.
