I now have had 8 Violations in a 7 day period. What the heck is going on with yahoo? Have they finally lost what little sense they had?
I'm curious as to if there have been a large increase in violations in the past few weeks.

Yeah, I've had a lot too. I was sad because one of them was cute, and they deleted it. I felt defeated and sad... :*(
It was:
Do you have sunshine on a cloudy day?
I thought it was cute, but apparently it's a violation. Oh well. I guess they want to be serious. Psssh. ;) No big deal, I'm not gonna worry about it.

I've gotten two in the last couple weeks, and my violations were extremely minor. Actually the last violation I got was anwering a question about why some other question got deleted. I think there have been an increase in violations in the last few weeks because I've been on here since May and I'm sure I've violated the guidelines if going by strict interpetation but never gotten a violation til recently. Maybe they hired more people or something.
I wonder if this will get deleted too...

None. I think there has been an increase in the violations though. I don't know if they changed the rules, if there are a lot more people reporting for some reason, of if they just feel like cracking down on people more than normal. Keep in mind that on this site people tend to report you just because they are bored or didn't like something you said. Some people here can't handle hearing opinions different from their own.

5 in a day, and I have over 19 violations. I really don't understand it. I answer the questions the way any normal human being should. I've gotten for Adult Content, Insulting and Chatting. I haven't done ANY insulting since I've been here, I've only been courteous. Some just need to lighten up, jeez.

I had about 10-15 violations all within a half hour of signing into Yahoo Answers one day and checking my email because someone kept reporting my answers as Spam.
All at once. It totally sucked.

I had 3 in a row before during the first week of October and 2 more during the third or fourth week or so. Those are the only ones I ever had.

I have had a grand total of one violation since I've been on YA.

I once got three in a day.
And there not only has been a huge uptick in violations, many people are getting the reason for them in other languages.
I have seen Italian, German and someone said they had Portuguese.
