i want to know if my pet fish is pregent i have a boy fish and a girl fish i can tell the diffrences and my girl fish is got realy fat. the fish are from the same species. Could my fish me pregnant???

First off i have 10 years in fish expiriance, so first, it depends on the breed. If you think it may be prego, then get a nursery net just in case, look every morning and every night for little specks swimming around, and scoop them up and put them in the nursery net with the mother untill they are big enough to not be eaten by other fish or get sucked up by the filter... usually around 8-14 weeks. If you like you can put the suspectant mother in the net by herself for a while to avoind having to deal with all the little fish scooping and all. Feed them too, just small sprinkles, tiny crushed up as small as you can.

Your girl fish will start to get really fat. Then she will lay eggs but the fish will eat the eggs so you have to take them out and put them in a seperate tank by themselves

this is a funny question maybe you should see your vet I have never seen anybody ask a question like this on here you can always try posting this in the pet fish section I bet lots of people answering in there would know for sure.

Yeah! Some clues are get really close to the tank and see if there is well a dark brown or dark black spot on its but not poo but a black dot... or maybe white.. now do not clean your tank for awhile cuz it lays eggs... you will kill them.... um, sometimes they just get fat if they eat to much but if its one and not the other congrats! Your going to have baby fish!!! LUCKY!

yes you should keep an eye on her you could be feeding her to much and you made her very fat is the other fish fat to?she could give birth any day
